Boom by the Bay: Aerial view of Tampa’s Fourth of July fireworks

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Despite a late start due to a computer malfunction, the City of Tampa gave residents a colorful fireworks show along the Hillsborough River.

News Channel 8’s helicopter, Eagle 8, flew over Downtown Tampa as the city put on the Boom by the Bay fireworks show.

The fireworks display was initially set to take place around 9:15 p.m., however, ended up going off just after 9:40 p.m.
