DAVENPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office released video showing men carrying the body of a St. Petersburg man after he was killed in Davenport.
Deputies said that Xavier Antonio Johnson, 29, of St. Petersburg was shot dead during a drug deal at the house he was renting through Air BNB on Acorn Court.
“According to the investigation so far, Johnson and his associates had been selling marijuana from the house since April 8, 2022, when they took occupancy,” the sheriff’s office said in a release.
Deputies said unknown people entered the home and shot Johnson.
Surveillance video taken from the house showed three unknown men carry Johnson’s body out of the home.
