LIST: Sandbag locations open in Tampa Bay area ahead of Hurricane Idalia

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Several sandbag locations have opened up in the Tampa Bay area ahead of Hurricane Idalia.

This list will be updated as more locations are announced.

City of Tampa (Open to Tampa residents only Sunday from Noon to 7 p.m.)

Himes Avenue Complex — 4501 South Himes Avenue

Al Barnes Park — 2902 North 32nd Street

MacFarlane Park — 1700 North MacDill Avenue (between Maxwell and Renfrew)

City of St. Petersburg

Full-Service Locations (Open Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.):

Self-Service Locations (Open Sunday and Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.):

Clearwater

A self-service station will open at Joe DiMaggio Complex at 2450 Drew Street from 9 a.m. until supplies last.

Gulfport

Sandbags will be available at the 49th Street Neighborhood Center at 1619 49th Street South from noon to 6 p.m.

Dunedin

Available at Highlander Park at 903 Michigan Boulevard Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Citrus County

Homosassa Community Park — 4210 Grandmarch Ave., Homosassa (Open 24 hours, must bring shovel)

Bicentennial Park — 501 N. Baseball Pt., Crystal River (Open 24 hours, must bring shovel)
