A lightning strike started a fire in Lakeland Friday afternoon.
According to the Lakeland Fire Department, crews were called to a structure fire at 2161 Ontario Way in the Bridgewater Community.
The fire started in the attic of the home after lightning struck the roof.
The blaze was contained to the attic and top floor of the home, but damage was significant enough the family has been displaced.
No one was injured in the fire.
