Warm with a few spotty showers this weekend

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A few spotty downpours formed along the sea breeze this evening but have since dissipated and we’ll stay dry overnight.

Temperatures will be warm and only fall into the lower 70s by morning.

Sunday will feature more of the same with warming temperatures in to the upper 80s and low 90s. A few spotty showers will form along the coast but not as many as today.

Slightly drier air will move in for the beginning of the week. This will limit rain chances to less than a 10% Monday and Tuesday. It will be hot though each afternoon.

The humidity builds back in for the middle and end of the week. Rain chances will increase to a 40% by Thursday for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. It will look and feel a lot like summer with highs in the low 90s, high humidity and afternoon storms each day through next weekend.
