Warm and humid to start the week

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was warm & muggy, with temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 80s away from the coast, who was kept cooler by a gulf breeze. The breeze dies down after sunset. We are prone to patchy fog early Tuesday morning. It may temporarily reduce your visibilities until the 8-9 a.m. hour when the clearing begins.

Temperatures warm nicely tomorrow under partly sunny skies. Expect another warm & muggy afternoon. We will top out on the mid to upper 80s with a 20% chance for a stray inland shower during the afternoon.

It will be a warm & humid start to the Sun ‘N Fun show, with temperature close to 90°.

The front finally pushes south through the Tampa Bay area Wednesday. We should still get a few showers, especially in southern zones as the front comes through. Behind the front, it will be less humid, but not that much cooler.

Highs only drop into the low 80s Wednesday, and we’re right back into the mid 80s Thursday and Friday. The humidity stays at a comfortable level to end the work week.

We’ll feel more humid again this weekend with a small rain chance returning Sunday.

Warm temperatures and slight chances for rain this week.
