TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – After a chilly morning, temperatures reached the mid 60s this afternoon. That’s still below average, but it felt nicer than yesterday thanks to sunshine and less wind.
Tonight, we’re near seasonable lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. It should be even warmer on Wednesday with highs in the upper 60s, but it will be gusty again as a cold front arrives. This front won’t bring any rain, but it will usher back in some cooler air.
Thursday starts in the 40s, and it stays below average in the mid-upper 60s. It’ll be warmer to end the week with highs near 70 Friday and low 70s Saturday.
Our next rain chance comes Sunday with scattered showers and storms as an area of low pressure crosses the state. A second low keeps rain chances in the forecast Monday and into early Tuesday.
