TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Another comfortable day is in store across the Tampa Bay area with passing clouds and high temperatures in the mid 70s. The humidity will start to creep back in this afternoon but it stays dry.

Expect a few more clouds tonight and into Friday with mostly cloudy skies by Friday afternoon but continued dry conditions. Temperatures will still be mild Friday as well with highs in the mid 70s.

After a nice end to the work week, unfortunately a weekend wash out is possible. Rain chances will increase pretty quickly Saturday for light to moderate rain that will possibly last through Sunday night as a slow moving cold front passes through the area.

Temperatures will be chilly as well with highs on Saturday only in the 60s and an even colder rain expected Sunday with highs in the upper 50s.

The rain clears out early Monday morning and the cooler temperatures will stick around to start next week with highs on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday below average.
