TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – We topped out in the mid to low 90s with feels like temperatures well into the mid 90s when you consider the humidity. expect a slow cool down through the 80s this evening. Southwesterly winds will begin to fade after sunset as temperatures make their way down into the mid 70s for an overnight low.
Another steamy day expected tomorrow with highs in the low 90s and a 10% chance of a stray inland shower. The summer-like heat continues Wednesday as well.
At this point, it looks like a cold front will increase our rain chances to 30% Thursday. The most exciting part of our forecast this week is lower humidity on Friday and Saturday. Behind the front, humidity will drop for Friday and Saturday. It will still be warm on those days, but it will feel more comfortable. It will also be cooler in the mornings.
Sunday we wake up in the low 70s and warm up into the upper 80s with a 10% chance for a spotty shower.
The 90s are back for afternoon temperatures next week, along with 10-20% chances for a stray shower, primarily during the afternoon.
