MAX DEFENDER 8 FORECAST: Isolated inland showers fade, clear and mild overnight

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was warm, sunny, and beautiful. We topped out in the upper 80s for the most part and a few isolated showers crept into our inland counties with our light easterly breeze. Expect those few showers to track across our area, fading after sunset before they reach our coastline.

Overnight temperatures will sink down into the upper 60s in our northernmost areas to the mid to low 70s elsewhere. Expect clear skies overnight.

Looks like a similar day tomorrow with highs in the upper 80s and a isolated chance for a few showers to move across the state and into our inland counties by the late afternoon into the early evening hours.

Wednesday and Thursday we will see a few spotty showers thanks to an increase in moisture across our area. It will definitely not be a washout by any means, but chances for rain jump up to 20% for the afternoon and early evening hours across the area.

Later in the week, some drier air arrives, and the rain chance drops to just 10% Friday and Saturday.
