TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was humid and overcast, with some afternoon clearing warming us into the low 80s. This evening will be muggy with sea fog spreading inland across most of our area. Temperatures will slowly sink down into the mid 60s. We may see a few spotty showers this evening as a front drifts across our area.
Most of the fog is gone by sunrise, but we still expect mostly cloudy skies to start. The front that pushed through will keep us mild over the weekend. The skies clear out during the second half of the day, and temperatures will warm into the mid 70s. It will be a little breezy at times Saturday, and it cools quickly after sunset.
Temperatures turn chilly Saturday night into Sunday morning, dipping down into the mid to low 50s.
Sunday will be sunny, less humid, and warming quickly. The afternoon will be lovely and mild, topping into the upper 70s.
Next week looks sunny, warm, and dry with warm afternoons in the mid 80s and cool mornings in the mid 50s. This weather pattern will become increasingly more fog-prone.
