TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Under sunny skies, we warmed up quickly into the upper 80s and low 90s. The rain held off most of the day, but early-evening showers pop up along the coastline and slowly push offshore. The chances for rain to the west of I-75 linger past sunset, but erode by 10 p.m.

Overnight the skies will clear out and temperatures will sink down into the mid 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday warm up quickly under mostly sunny skies. A few clouds develop during the afternoon and scattered showers will fire up during the afternoon into the early evening.

By Thursday, we it will feel like our summertime weather pattern with afternoon highs around 90° and 40% chances for afternoon storms.

Each round of rain is lowering our fire danger and helping out with our abnormally dry conditions.
