TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was lovely, we warmed into the mild upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. The evening will be mild, with temperatures sinking out of the low 70s and into the cool 60s overnight. We may see areas of coastal fog reducing visibilities down to around half an hour through the early morning hours.
The fog clears at a decent time Tuesday morning, with partly cloudy skies expected during the day. Temperatures will warm quickly, climbing into the upper 70s for the afternoon.
Fog will be a more significant and widespread issues Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, expect sea fog to spread inland across our area overnight. The fog will linger into Wednesday morning, especially along the coast.
Wednesday warm into the mid 80s once the fog lifts. Expect partly cloudy skies, a light breeze, and no chances for showers.
We continue to warm up a bit more each day this week and by Thursday and Friday we will see record-challenging high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s, and in some inland areas, possibly the low 90s. It will feel more like summer than February even if we do not break any records.
Next weekend looks a tiny bit cooler, topping out in the low 80s. Still no chances for showers in sight.
