TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Today was lovely, warming into the upper 60s and low 70s under mostly sunny skies. Expect a cool & clear evening with temperature dipping down into the mid 40s to low 50s overnight.
We have another beautiful day expected on Saturday with highs in the low 70s.
Stormy conditions arrive around sunrise on Sunday. Some heavy rain is possible along with gusty winds as an area of low pressure crosses the state. There could be breaks in the rain, but play it safe by making indoor plans.
Off and on light rain is expected through the day on Monday as another area of low pressure heads east across Florida. Some cooler air starts to arrive Monday evening. Many areas may pick up an inch of rain over the two days.
The rain ends early on Tuesday, and it gets even cooler. Highs will only be in the mid 60s Tuesday, and we drop into the 40s Tuesday night. After that, there’s a gradual warm-up for the rest of the week.
