TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today started out overcast and damp, but we cleared out and dried out throughout the day, as the cold front behind the showers pushed through. We topped out in the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon.

This evening will cool rather quickly, expect a crisp and clear night. We’ll enjoy low humidity and temperatures sinking down into the cool 50s overnight.

The low humidity makes the air feel crisp and cool in the mornings, and the warm sunshine feels great in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s tomorrow and mid 80s on Wednesday.

Humidity begins to creep up on Thursday with highs in the mid 80s. We add in a 10% rain chance Friday, but most areas stay dry.

The humidity begins to surge back to our more normal levels on Saturday, which will make the mid 80s we expect that afternoon feel a bit sticky. We have an isolated chance for a few showers later on Saturday.

Sunday won’t be a washout, but we do expect a few scattered showers to push through ahead of a weak cold front. Temperatures won’t be quite as warm as a result.
