Cronkrite named conference offensive player of the week

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) USF running back Jordan Cronkrite was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his 302 yard rushing performance against UMass last Saturday. Cronkrite scored three touchdowns in the Bulls 58-42 victory and set a new school and conference single-game rushing record.

Cronkrite’s big day has vaulted him to third in the nation in rushing yards per game (151.1) and yards per carry (8.78). He also has a streak of three consecutive 100-yard rushing games entering week seven.

On Friday, the 23rd ranked Bulls travel to Tulsa to play the Golden Hurricane in a nationally televised game. USF was voted into the AP and Coaches Top-25 polls for the first time this season, on Sunday.
