CHICAGO (WFLA/WGN) – The Chicago Cubs postponed their home opener on Monday due to snow.

Crews used shovels, tarps and even leaf blowers to try and clear Wrigley Field.

The game is expected to happen on Tuesday at 1:20 p.m., central time.

The Cubs will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates, if the weather allows.

The National Weather Service predicted more snow or rain on Monday afternoon, but only a few tenths of an inch accumulation.
