The Rays won their first spring training game on Tuesday down in Port Charlotte.
Emilio Pagan started on the hill. He went 2 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits.
Fast forward to the top of the 8th inning, the Rays trailed 4-1 and took their first lead of the game, 5-4, when Jesus Sanchez hit a 3-run homer to right field.
The Rays scored 10 runs in the top of 8, spurring them to an 11 to 5 victory.
