The Bucs are back on the practice field after a few days off and there are a few players who haven’t seen any action for quite a while.

Cornerback Brent Grimes has been out after suffering a hamstring injury and Vita Vea has not been on the field since suffering an injury in training camp.

Vea has been seen riding a stationary bike on the sidelines during Bucs games so the expectation has been that his return to the practice field may be soon.

The big question is, when will he be ready for game action?

While the Bucs’ defensive backs have played fairly well in the first two wins without Brent Grimes, it is certainly good timing to see him back on the field.

The Steelers come to town for Monday Night Football, and while Pittsburgh is winless after two games, Ben Roethlisberger brings a high scoring offense to Raymond James for game three on the national stage.

“It’s a big game not because it’s Monday night. Not because the logos on the helmet or anything like that. It is a big game for us to go out and compete and have fun and try and get a W,” Grimes said.

Big game or not, the Bucs are trying to go 3-0 for the first time since 2005.
