Day two of Bucs camp is similar to day one. Ryan Fitzpatrick continues to practice with the starters as Jameis Winston mainly is with the third team.

Fitzpatrick says it’s all about timing. He hits DeSean Jackson in stride for a 60-yard TD late in practice.

“There are guys that are easier to throw to than others, so getting the reps in practice and preseason games, those will be good live reps to get the timing down,” he said.

Fitzpatrick is in his 14th season in the NFL and is not surprised of this new role he is now in with the Bucs.

“I have been in so many situations, things are great one week, then throw six interceptions the next. The next week I get benched and the next week I throw six touchdowns. It’s an absolute circus in this league.”

Fitzpatrick will start the first three games of the regular season. After that, who knows.

“You have to take it one week at a time.”
