TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Tampa police are investigating the deadly shooting of a woman at a Tampa motel.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 8:15 p.m. at the Traveler’s Inn which is located at 2523 Busch Blvd.
When officers arrived, they found an unconscious woman who appeared to have a gunshot wound.
No one else was in the room when police arrived.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
Police say the shooting does not appear to be random.
Investigators have not released the identity of the woman.
