ORLANDO, FL (WFLA) — The energy is electric and the smell of the burgers is mouth-watering. If you want to try the new Wahlburgers Orlando restaurant this weekend, here’s some information 8 On Your Side found out that you should know before you go.
Now that the grand opening celebration is over, Wahlburgers is open and serving their famous burgers to you! The line of hungry customers waiting to get a taste was out the door for the opening of the restaurant this week.

This is Wahlburgers first (of many) Florida locations, owned by celebrity brothers Mark and Paul Wahlberg. The 6,000-square-foot restaurant is located at the SunTrust Center at 200 S Orange Street in Orlando. See map below.
Vice President of Operations for Wahlburgers Norm MacLennan tells News Channel 8 Executive Chef, Paul Wahlberg, will be at the restaurant this week continuing to train kitchen staff. So if you’re lucky this weekend, you may catch a glimpse of him in the kitchen.
While the restaurant is open during dinner hours, MacLennan says they expect lunch hours to be the busiest, as the restaurant is located in a business district of Orlando. They will offer full-service or take-out options.
The restaurant hours are Monday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
People drive hours to eat at the famous restaurant, so bring your patience and don’t be surprised if there is a wait. Wahlburgers staff tells News Channel 8 at the original location in Hingham, Massachusetts, there is a three hour wait for food at times!
As for the food, the menu is complete with not only a variety of mouth-watering signature burgers made with fresh ground beef, but chicken and fish sandwiches, housemade salads, a kids menu with a “Smahlburger,” and desserts such as the “Grilled Banana Fluffanutta.”
Customers should be pleased with the prices, too. Burger prices range from $7.25 to $9.50. Salads are $6.50 or $7.50. See the full menu & prices here.
There is also a full-service bar with a special Florida-inspired cocktail, the Orlando Dreamsicle.
When you’re there, take a look around! Wahlberg family photos line the walls featuring the brothers in their younger years. The ceiling is lit up with the Wahlbergs’ names and accomplishments.
MacLennan explains the kind of business they run as gracious, family-oriented and all about the guest. “You just want to make someone smile,” he says.
