(WFLA) – Walmart received a patent last week that indicates that the retailer will roll out a system that would let shopping carts drive themselves in the stores.

CNN reports that the system will include small detachable motors, sensors and video cameras on the carts. Customers will have a ‘user interface device’ that will bring a cart to them at the push of a button.

According to the patent filing, the system will also be able to identify an unattended shopping cart and bring it back to a docking station.

There is no information yet on when or where Walmart plans to start using the system, according to CNN.
