INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A touching photo from Indianapolis International Airport is quickly spreading online.
The Airport Authority Fire Department says Delta Airlines let them know Saturday that the remains of a U.S. Marine and his escort were leaving the airport.
When a military detail wasn’t available, the department says several on-duty airport firefighters were honored to serve as pallbearers.
The photo posted to the department’s Facebook page has been shared more than 2,000 times.
