Jessie Barber took her 18-month-old son, who has cerebral palsy, to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and the family is now a social media sensation.
Barber, who is from Kentucky, said parents of children with disabilities know the feeling when people look at their children and are not sure how to interact with kids with disabilities.
But what happened when her son met Winnie the Pooh will melt your heart.
Barber recorded the video in Orlando during a character breakfast at the Crystal Palace in Disney World‘s Magic Kingdom Monday, according to Yahoo News.
She and wife Allison had planned a weeklong trip for their three adopted children and their son, who has cerebral palsy that stems from a brain injury at birth, according to Yahoo News.
In her Facebook post she wrote:
For those of you who have disabled children know the feel when people look but aren’t sure how to interact with your kiddo. This Winnie the Pooh melted my heart and knew exactly what to do!
He spent 10+ minutes with our little guy and he loved every second of it.😍Thank you Pooh!
