VIDEO: Man captures ‘pollen storm’ on home security camera

Allergy sufferers, beware.  This video may make your eyes water.

It looks like snow or spitting rain, but the nasty storm captured on surveillance cameras is neither snow nor rain—it’s pollen.

An apparent pollen storm set off the motion detectors on a North Carolina man’s home security camera.

A video shows white specks blowing in all directions and falling like snow.

“Welcome to NC, where you can make pollenmen, pollenangels, [and] have pollenball fights,” the homeowner, James Fox, said on Facebook.

Fox, an allergy sufferer compared it to having sand in your eyes, “especially when it’s dry and windy like last night,” he said.

According to Pollen.com, the pollen count in Apex, North Carolina, where Fox lives is Very High.
