(WFLA/CNN Newsource) – Nissan is known for its moderately priced line of vehicles, but the automaker is trying something new.
It’s releasing a sports car with the starting price of $1.1 million.
The Nissan GTR 50 is a production version of its GTR sports car.
The company only plans to make 50 of them available to the public.
The car’s body will be built by hand in Italy in any color the buyer likes.
That’s not all you get for $1 million.
The 710 horsepower engine in the GTR 50 will be stronger and faster than other similar models.
The car was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Nissan GTR next year.
The limited vehicles will be built and delivered to customers in 2019 and 2020.
