Firefighters often risk their lives for the benefit of their community.
But on Sunday, a group of North Carolina firefighters had a stress-free call.
Firehouse 18 stumbled upon a family desperately trying to fill up a kiddie pool by filling up pots from the sink for a little boy’s birthday party.
So, the crew provided the water on a sweltering day.
“What was just a simple task for us turned into laughter, smiles and a life-long memory for the neighborhood kids,” the viral Facebook post said.
