(WFLA) – Here in Florida, it’s not unusual to see an alligator strolling on a golf course. But in Malaysia, pythons and water lizards tend to wander on golf courses.
That was the case on Friday at the PGA TOUR CIMB Classic that’s underway at the TPC Kuala Lumpur golf course in Malaysia.
A 6-foot-long python made its way onto the golf course and had to be removed before the second round. PGA TOUR Twitter photos have gone viral. The photos show the big python on the golf course followed by a golf course worker removing the snake.
A water lizard also swam up to the course on Friday.
