TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A video highlight from a Tampa high school football game is going viral on Twitter this weekend.

The game between Alonso High Ravens and Walter S. Sickles High Gryphons was at Alonso Friday night. The schools are about five miles apart which makes them natural geographical rivals. And after the recent schedule change, they will now meet every year in Week 1.

During the Friday night game, Alonso Ravens sophomore Malik Jefferson faked the punt and used his speed to get around the defense.

He made a 360-degree flip over one defender, stuck the landing and kept going.

The sideline couldn’t believe what they saw. Honestly, we couldn’t either. But our cameras were rolling, the video of the flip has been retweeted more than 1,000 times.

Despite the impressive flip, Alonso lost to Sickles, 26-0. But this play is in the running for high school play of the year.
