WEST POINT, NY (WFLA/NBC) — Video of the United States Military Academy’s graduating class is going viral due to one West point cadet’s behavior during the lead up to Saturday’s graduation ceremony.
The cadet was in mid-march to the graduation ceremony when she is caught on camera playing with her smartphone.
In the video, you see her looking down at her phone while staying in step with other cadets. It isn’t until she is off camera that she looks up.
Needless to say, she is attracting a lot of attention on social media from critics who say she lacks discipline and respect.
Other critics are also pointing out additional cadets are not wearing matching uniforms or marching in step.
