(WFLA) – Frightening video of a close encounter with a great white shark is going viral on the internet.
The video was posted to a You Tube Channel called “Gabe and Garrett.”
It shows a shark being lured by a man dangling a piece of tuna. The shark splashes underwater and breaks the metal bars of the underwater cage. The shark then leaps out of the cage and into the air.
A diver inside the cage managed to escape, according to an NBC News report.
The incident happened off the coast of Mexico near Guadalupe Island.
