A furry intruder gave officers at a California Highway Patrol facility quite a scare last week.
Newly-released surveillance video shows a bear casually stroll into the Donner Pass Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility in Butte County.
The bear appears to peek in the window of the facility before standing up on two legs to open the door.
Once the door is open, the bear gets down on all fours again and walks inside. After taking a quick peek at the vending machines, he continues venturing into the facility and disappears from the camera.
He eventually appears again and crawls out the door, followed by two armed officers.
The official California Highway Patrol Facebook page shared the video and joked, “We always encourage visitors to stop by and say hi.”
