ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A gas leak that prompted evacuations in St. Petersburg on Tuesday morning has been capped.
St. Petersburg police say there could be traffic delays in the area until about 1 p.m. because of heavy equipment in the road.
A gas line was cut in front of the Burger King located at 3570 34th St. S. Nearby businesses were evacuated around 10 a.m.
