(WFLA) – A Halloween display is causing a neighborhood disagreement in a small Texas town.
KTRK reports in Katy, TX, that the display in question shows a zombie mother leaning over her zombie babies, complete with beady red eyes and blood splatter. Some severed limbs are hanging from the house.
Some neighbors appreciate the novice of the display.
“I think they’re cool,” one resident told KTRK. “It’s more different than the normal ones you see.”
But one neighborhood mother wrote to KTRK saying this is going too far and local children should not be exposed to this.
Residents describe the family that lives in the house as great neighbors. There are two boys in the family, an 8-month-old baby and a 10-year-old boy. The crib used in the display belonged to the older brother until a recall was issued for it, according to KTRK.
Neighborhood children say they know the display is not real.
