UPDATE: The two teens missing from the Mendez Exceptional Center have been found, and they are safe. Two members of the public spotted the teens near Nebraska Avenue and Sligh Avenue and notified Tampa Police.
PREVIOUS STORY: TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Tampa police officers are currently searching for two autistic teens. The teens attend Mendez Exceptional Center and were last seen walking southbound on 22nd Street.
The teens have been identified as 13-year-old Logan Kinser and 14-year-old Blake Bennett.
Logan is 5’5″ and weighs about 115 pounds. Logan has blond hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a peach-colored shirt with white shorts.
Blake has brown hair, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black frame glasses.
Anyone who has information about the teens’ whereabouts is asked to call Tampa Police Department immediately.
