OLDSMAR, Fla. (WFLA) – Tampa Road will be closed at the railroad crossing, north of State Road 580, beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. This Oldsmar closure is expected to last until 5 a.m. Monday.
Motorists will be unable to cross the tracks while the road is closed.
Here’s what drivers should do:
- Westbound Tampa Road: You’ll be detoured onto State Street.
- Eastbound Tampa Road: This stretch of the road will be open to Bayview Boulevard for both business and residential traffic. Expect heavy congestion. Motorists can take McMullen Booth Road to State Street to avoid the area.
