TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — Tampa police are looking for the man they say grabbed a woman and tried to pull her clothes off.
Police say the victim was on her front porch in the area of Hillsborough Avenue East and 15th Street around 2 a.m. Tuesday when the suspect approached her, grabbed her and pulled her to the ground.
The suspect tried to pull her clothes off and was unbuckling his pants, police say. The victim screamed and the suspect put his hand over her mouth.
Thankfully, a motion light activated and dogs started barking and the suspect ran away.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office assisted in developing a composite of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, Inc. for a reward up to $3,000.
