UPDATE: Fredrick Douglas has been arrested. “At this time, he has not been charged in relation to the homicides as the investigation continues,” deputies said.
PREVIOUS STORY: MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Manatee County detectives have made an arrest in connection with two deaths.
On Tuesday, Karl Tuxford was found shot to death in his vehicle, which was in the 1100 block of 8th Avenue E in Bradenton. Jordan Finlon, 23, was found that afternoon near Bishop Harbor Road in northern Manatee.RELATED: Woman found dead near road, man shot dead in car
Detectives said both incidents appear to be related to drugs. Tuxford and Finlon were acquaintances.
On Thursday, detectives charged Dwayne Cummings, 38, with armed kidnapping. Murder charges are pending.
Detectives are also looking for a second suspect, Fredrick Douglas. Douglas, 43, has a warrant for an unrelated domestic battery charge.
