TAMPA, Fla. – Westshore Boulevard from West Bay Way Drive to Beachway Drive will be closed from Wednesday, May 11, 2016 and will reopen in July as part of the Watrous Canal Rehabilitation
Project, the City of Tampa reports.
The city contractor will be replacing the existing utilities and box culvert.
Beachway Drive will also be closed between Westshore Boulvard and S. Roxmere Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of Westshore Boulevard at all times.
The city advises drivers to use a detour going along Henderson Boulevard to S. Dale Mabry Highway then onto Kennedy Boulevard. That’s where they can reconnect with Westshore.
