TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A flatbed semi crash closed the southbound lanes of Interstate-275 in Tampa for more than two hours on Wednesday.
Authorities say a tractor trailer was headed southbound on I-275 and took the downtown exit and then the driver realized he was in the wrong place and moved back over to continue downtown and hit a guardrail. The truck was carrying a concrete load, which spilled onto the roadway.
FHP closed the southbound lanes around 10:45 a.m. to investigate and clean up after the crash. The lanes were reopened at 1:05 p.m.
No one was injured in the crash.
