Sheriff seeks help finding suspects involved in 4 BB gun shootings

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying the people who have been firing a BB gun from a vehicle.

Investigators say on the evening of June 18, three males were in a silver mini-van which drove by a victim’s home on Sycamore Drive in Tampa. Detectives say three BB pellets were fired as the vehicle passed. One of the shots struck the victim in the arm.

The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Williams Road approaching Clay Pit Road. Detectives say the suspects may have been intoxicated.

The sheriff’s office says a similar incident occurred the same evening at 92 Highway East and Garden Lane.

There were two more shootings on June 20 at Parsons Avenue & 92 Highway East and again on Brandon Boulevard West.
