NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) — The U.S. Coast Guard located three boaters they said went missing off the coast of New Port Richey early Friday morning.

The Coast Guard initially said Chance Mercier, Alex Miller and Lydia Douglas were last seen getting on a 21-foot white and blue rec boat at around 2:40 a.m.

The USCG Twitter later reported that the boaters were found by a good Samaritan 30 miles off Hudson, Florida.

As of this report, a crew from USCG Station Sand Key responded since the boaters’ vessel was disabled.
