SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – The man who “took pictures up a woman’s skirt” at an antique store was arrested, according to the Sarasota Police.

James Lee Lilly Jr., 47, of Venice, was arrested on for video voyeurism. He admitted to the crime, according to SPD. He has the criminal history in the county – he’s been arrested five times on various charges, officers said.

The incident happened at Bon Bon Vintage, located in the 3000 block of Tuttle Avenue, around 11:15 a.m. last Wednesday.

Officials asked for the public’s help locating the suspect. The sheriff’s office released surveillance video that shows the man walking back and forth down the aisles of the antique mall. Deputies say the 46-year-old victim was shopping when the suspect started talking to her. The suspect followed the victim around the store, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.

“When she became suspicious, the woman turned around to find the man crouched down behind her taking photos,” deputies said.

The victim confronted the man, and he fled, deputies said.

The suspect was wearing a light blue button-down shirt, khaki shorts and deck shoes.
