SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – Sarasota police are searching for two suspects who were at the scene of a shooting this morning.
Detectives say it happened at 7:56 a.m. in the 1500 block of 20th Street.
Two men approached the victim and shot him twice in the leg.
The victim was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives say two suspects took off in a dark colored vehicle shortly after the shooting.
The shooting does not appear to be random and there is no threat in the area, according to police.
Police are searching for two possible vehicles, one being the suspect’s video and another a possible witness vehicle.
