The body of a missing man was found in a car submerged in an Englewood pond, authorities said.
Ira McConnell, 92, left his home on Dec. 15. A Silver Alert was issued two days later. On Friday, his vehicle was located underwater in a pond next to Alameda Isles.
The county’s dive team was called in, and the car was pulled from the water. McConnell’s body was found inside.
Investigators do not suspect foul play was involved.
