A child was flown to the hospital after they nearly drowned in a pool near a school in Sarasota Friday, SNN-TV reports.
Paramedics responded to a near-drowning call at a residence near Brookside Middle School, which is located at 3636 S. Shade Ave.
Officials said a child was pulled from the pool and flown to a nearby hospital. Their age, sex and current condition is unknown.
