TAMPA (WFLA) — The Florida Lottery announced that a 26-year-old Venice man won $1 million from playing a $30 scratch-off game.
Michael Hager played the FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000 Scratch-Off game he bought at the purchased his winning ticket from Walmart in Venice.
Hager chose to take a lump-sum payment of $790,000. The Walmart will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
