(WFLA) — State inspectors temporarily closed one Tampa Bay eatery from Oct. 10 to 15, 2016. We’ve listed the restaurant that was closed below, along with details about what inspectors say they found.

Sept. 11, 2016: Temporarily closed with 22 violations
- Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found.
- 35+ hard and dry rodent droppings found under the dry storage shelving (manager cleaned up).
- 3 rodent droppings behind bread warmer on the front cook’s line.
- Rodent chew marks found on wood under shelving.
- Live roaches found: 1 on wall by bread warmers, 2 on sandwich cooler, 1 on counter, 1 behind bread machine, 4 on shelf with chips for customer, 1 on left shelf with chips for customer self-service, 1 between reach-in cooler and bread warmer, 1 on floor, 1 between cookie display and reach-in cooler, 1 on sign.
- Dead roaches on premises: 1 by safe, 4 under bread warmers, 1 on a sneeze guard.
- Build-up of mold-like substance on an interior cabinet under the customer fountain machine.

- Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license.
- Employee with no hair restraint while engaging in food preparation.
- Stop Sale Order issued for potentially hazardous food due to temperature abuse: black beans 52°F.
No. 1 China Buffet, 8857 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, 43 violations
- Food placed in soiled container/equipment:Clean mushrooms placed in soiled box.
- Employee washed hands with no soap.
- Stop Sale Order issued for dented/rusted cans of apple sauce
Average Joe’s Bar & Grille, 5858 Roosevelt Blvd., Largo, 40 violations
- Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found: 9 droppings found ranging from semi-soft to hard in area used for storage including ice machine.
- 3 dead roaches found in storage area containing ice machine.
- Objectionable odor in mop room.
Dome Grill, 561 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, 35 violations
- Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found.
- 2 fresh rodent droppings found under an unused grill area at the end of the cook’s line.
- 23 dried rodent droppings found at the end of the cook’s line in an unused grill area.
- Rodent droppings found under the prep table/handwash sink area at the end of the cook’s line: too many rodent droppings to count.
La Margaritas, 4031 W. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, 35 violations
- Stop Sale Order issued for potentially hazardous food due to temperature abuse.
- Raw animal food stored over cooked food: Raw pork stored over cooked chicken.
- Cooked chicken not covered in walk-in cooler.
No. 1 China Buffet, 8857 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, 31 violations
- Cook washed hands without soap.
- Plastic jug cut in half and reused as scoop.
- Nonfood-grade bags used in direct contact with food.
Arco Iris Restaurant, 3328 W. Columbus Ave., Tampa, 30 violations
- Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food in walk-in cooler.
- Slicer blade guard soiled with old food debris.
- Nonfood-grade containers used for food storage.
Boardwalk Pasta and Seafood, 5901 Sun Blvd., St. Petersburg, 30 violations
- Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found.
- 6 rodent droppings found in front windowsill that crumbled to particles.
- 1 rodent dropping found on chair rail by a table near the bar. Droppings had white tips. All droppings swept up.
- 1 semi-soft rodent dropping and 5 dry rodent droppings found under a bottle table at the front bar.
- A chewed up portion cup was found under the warewash line passthru window. The cup was tipped upside down and the bottom was chewed out.
