(WFLA) –State inspectors temporarily closed six Tampa Bay eateries from July 18 to 22, 2016. We’ve listed the restaurants that were closed below, along with details about what inspectors say they found.

Roscoe located at 3 N. Scenic Highway in Frostproof

July 18, 2016: Restaurant temporarily closed with 10 violations

  • Stop Sale Order issued for tomatoes with mold-like growth.
  • Rodent droppings found in the following locations: 8-10 moist rodent droppings behind Frigidaire freezer in kitchen; 10-12 moist droppings in air conditioning unit closet; 6-8 moist rodent droppings under 3-compartment sink; 3-5 dry rodent droppings under 3-compartment sink; 12-15 dry rodent droppings behind Frigidaire freezer; 10-12 dry rodent droppings in air conditioning closet; 1-dry rodent dropping in unisex bathroom; 3-dry rodent droppings near inside front entrance of restaurant.

July 25, 2016: Restaurant reopened with 1 violation

Tropico Latino Restaurant located at 5100 US 98 N. in Lakeland

July 19, 2016: Restaurant temporarily closed with 3 violations

  • Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found.
  • Observed 30-40 moist rodent droppings under storage shelf across from reach in freezer in storage area.
  • Interior of microwave soiled with encrusted food debris.

July 20, 2016: Restaurant reopened with no violations

Panda World located at 6214 US Highway 98 in Lakeland

July 19, 2016: Restaurant temporarily closed with 10 violations

  • Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found.
  • Observed 30-40 live roaches under food storage containers next to a 3-compartment sink in the main kitchen.
  • Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food in walk-in cooler: observed raw chicken stored over sauce.
  • Case/container/bag of food stored on floor in walk-in freezer.

July 20, 2016: Restaurant reopened with 2 violations

Antonio’s Pizzeria and Restaurant located at 2805 38th Ave. in St. Petersburg

July 20, 2016: Restaurant temporarily closed with 39 violations

  • Slicer soiled with rodent droppings.
  • Rodent droppings found in the following locations: 50+ dried droppings along two walls behind the ice machine and along the ice machine wall and an adjacent wall behind multiple freezers and coolers; 2 dried droppings on slicer surface under the sliding attachment; 20 dried droppings on the top and at the base of the water heater; 4 dried droppings behind the floor mixer; 60+ droppings -too many to count- along entire dining room bar area; 5 observed semi-soft on a box under the bar’s 3-bay sink; 4 dried droppings in small dining room to the left of the front door; droppings observed behind the coke machine in the center dining room, unable to count; 4 dried droppings under the women’s restroom sink.
  • Rodent rub marks present along pipe under 3-bay sink at bar.

July 21, 2016: Restaurant reopened with 8 violations

El Gallo Grande located at 1625 4th St. S. in St. Petersburg

July 20, 2016: Restaurant temporarily closed with 14 violations

  • Live roaches found in the following locations: 20 on dish machine in dishroom and behind poster in dish and under dish pit; 40 in storage area next to walk-in cooler on wood rack; 30 plus – too many to count- in dish rack under prep table in back of kitchen; dish rack totally inundated with live roach activity. Live roach total is 90 plus, too many to count.
  • The following potentially hazardous cold foods were held at temperatures greater than 41 degrees: sour cream 46°, cooked pork 44°, cheddar cheese 46°.

July 22, 2016: Restaurant reopened with 1 violation

Thien Na Deli located at 6527 Park Blvd. in Pinellas Park

July 21, 2016: Restaurant temporarily closed with 21 violations

  • From inspection on 2016-07-20: Dead roaches found in the following locations: Multiple dead roaches under cooler; 4 dead under reach-in chest freezer in back storage area; 3 squished in reach-in cooler in freezer; 10 dead in front area; 3 dead in unused cooler; 20 dead in front dining area; 10 dead by ice machine; 8 dead in bathroom storage. Notes from follow-up inspection on 2016-07-21: Upon callback, dead roaches still observed: 20 dead in equipment at the front of the store on tables and chairs and trays.
  • From inspection on 2016-07-20: High Priority – Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found: 15 live roaches under chest reach-in freezer ranging from small to full size in back storage area; 2 in reach-in freezer on cook’s line; 3 on front prep table; 4 on front counter; 1 in steam well; 4 in front dining area by reach-in cooler; 2 by front door; 10 in tool bag by drink station; 8 in storage bathroom; 10 behind cooler in front area; 25 in foil container on front counter — too Numerous to count. From follow-up inspection on 2016-07-21: Upon call back live roaches still present, observed 15 plus roaches in a tool bag with equipment outside back door with items to be returned inside restaurant.
  • From inspection on 2016-07-20: High Priority – Roach excrement and/or droppings present. Too numerous to count all around establishment. From follow-up inspection on 2016-07-21: Upon callback, roach excrement still visible on equipment for the restaurant’s use.

July 23, 2016: Restaurant reopened with 12 violations

The following Tampa Bay restaurants received the most violations during inspections conducted from July 18 to 22, 2016.

Antonio’s Pizzeria and Restaurant, 2805 38th Ave., St. Petersburg, 39 violations

La Pequena Colombia Restaurante, 6312 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, 36 violations

  • Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food in walk-in cooler: raw steak stored over cooked sausage, raw chicken stored over lettuce.
  • Case/container/bag of food stored on floor in walk-in cooler/freezer: soup, beans, raw meats.
  • Food stored on floor: cooking oil near back door.

Villagio Cinemas, 11744 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, 35 violations

  • Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food: raw bacon stored over cooked meatballs.
  • Coffee filters not stored in a protected manner to prevent contamination.
  • Pizza peel stored on top of soiled oven between uses.

Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grille, 1320 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, 34 violations

  • Raw/undercooked animal food offered and establishment has no written consumer advisory. Raw animal foods must be fully cooked prior to service, was not on menus. Did not see signs placed around the establishment.
  • Stop Sale Order issued for the following potentially hazardous foods due to temperature abuse: 50°F cheese slices, 49°F shrimp, 47°F raw chicken, 59°F hot dogs, 61°F thin rib eye beef, 59°F cheese, 69°F salsa and 63°F raw sausage.
  • Multiple food handlers failed to wash their hands before changing gloves and/or putting on gloves to work with food.

Pizza Hut, 621 W. Paltt St., Tampa, 30 violations

  • Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored on rack with “To Go” utensils on front counter.
  • Employee began working with food, handling clean equipment or utensils, or touching unwrapped single-service items without first washing their hands.
  • Food stored on the floor in the walk-in freezer.

Lenny’s Sub Shop, 4050 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, 28 violations

  • Interior of refrigerator soiled with accumulation of food residue.
  • Stored food not covered in reach-in freezer.
  • Interior of microwave soiled with encrusted food debris.

China, 2535 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, 25 violations

  • Food with mold-like growth: can of chestnuts.
  • Nonfood-grade bags used in direct contact with food.
  • Food stored on floor: fry oil on cook line.

Eddie’s Bar and Grill, 1283 Bayshore Blvd., Dunedin, 23 violations

  • Employee failed to wash hands before changing gloves and/or putting on gloves to work with food.
  • Employee handled soiled equipment or utensils and then engaged in food preparation, handled clean equipment or utensils, or touched unwrapped single-service items without washing hands.
  • Reach-in cooler shelves soiled with food debris on the cook’s line.

Thai Town, 1342 Main St., Dunedin, 22 violations

  • Case/container/bag of food stored on floor in kitchen: soda and canned goods.
  • Vegetable chopper/dicer/shredder/peeler soiled with old food debris.
  • Shelf under preparation table soiled with food debris.
